Perfect pattern for a Hawaiian shirt, all you need is a classic Hawaiian print fabric to make a fabulous summer vacation shirt, your little boys will love this one.
The Thomas shirt is a casual shirt with an open collar, short sleeves and double yoke. The styling is typical of a standard men’s casual shirt. Suitable for both boys and girls, the roomy fit offers comfort and a stylish, loose and roomy casual look.
Looks great in almost any fabric. For girls, you can go with gorgeous big flowers or plaids.
SIZES: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 for children from 2 to 14 years. Always check the size chart for your correct size, chest and height measurements are the best guide. A size table in centimeters and inches is included in the template file.
FABRIC: Light woven fabrics work best – poplin, peat, home-spun and similar fabrics. Also suitable are — very light denim or chambray, linen and Fuji viscose. For ease of handling and to minimize wear and tear, choose fabrics with a dense weave, such as cotton. B. Poplin. Not suitable for knitting.
ACCESSORIES: In addition to the fabric, you also need light metal for the collar and lining and buttons for the front. The best button size is 10mm or 3/8 inch. Depending on the size you’re making, five to six buttons should be enough.EXPERIENCE: You will need intermediate to advanced sewing skills to make this shirt. The shirt requires basic sewing with only one neat and precise seam. There is a double packed yoke and buttonholes. Overlock is best for trimming the seams; Alternatively, you can use a zigzag stitch on your regular sewing machine. Follow the sewing tutorial closely to learn how to sew a shirt and make sure you sew everything in the correct order.
